A series of cushion cover concepts developed to explore appliqué as a surface embellishment technique for home textiles. The project focused on translating different visual themes into tactile textile surfaces through layering, stitching, and fabric manipulation.

Concepts Explored

Cushion 01 — Red Pansy Bloom

Inspired by the vibrant form and delicate structure of red pansy flowers, this design uses layered appliqué and embroidery to capture the organic movement of stems, petals, and buds in bloom.
